Kool Pack’s “Black-Edge” Coated Evaporative Cooling Media is specifically designed for operating environments where frequent cleaning is a concern (ideal for chicken houses, gas turbines, & green houses).

Kool-Pack “Black-Edge” Coated Media Pads are made with a special proprietary Wetting Agent additive that is applied directly to the air entry side of the media pad.  This prevents water from collecting (bedding) on the surface so you get even saturation.  This ½” Black-Edge Coating is on the surface where your Evaporative Cooling Pads see the hottest and driest conditions and also where the majority of minerals and contaminants tend to build up. 

With Kool-Pack “Black-Edge” Coated Evaporative Cooling Pads now you have a “first-line” of defense, so cleanup is a breeze and you can change out your pads less frequently.
